The J.D. Power Canada ALG Residual Value Awards are the automotive leasing industry standard when it comes to recognizing the vehicles segments that are projected to hold the highest percentage of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) after a four-year period for mass market vehicles, and after a three-year period for premium vehicles. Eligibility for an overall brand award in either the Mass Market or Premium category requires a brand to have vehicles in at least four unique model level segments.

J.D. Power Awards Program

J.D. Power will issue a national press release highlighting key findings and top-to-bottom rankings from the study. The brand(s) that rank highest in each award-eligible segment and meet predetermined award criteria will have the opportunity to enter into a licensing agreement through the J.D. Power Awards Program, which requires subscribing to the study as a prerequisite.
