What is the J.D. Power AI + Insurance conference?

The event aims to serve as a platform for industry professionals, AI experts, and technology innovators to come together and explore the transformative potential of AI in the property and casualty insurance sector. By fostering dialogue, sharing insights, and showcasing advancements, the event will contribute to the industry's evolution and competitiveness in an increasingly data-driven world.

What is the event date?

General Session will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

We welcome attendees to join us for a welcome reception on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30pm.

Where will the conference take place?

The conference will be hosted in the Lakeshore West on the third floor of the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel.

What time will the conference begin?

Check-in and breakfast will begin at 7:00am CT. 

Where can I find the conference agenda?

The detail conference agenda will be available in early 2025.

What is the registration fee?
  • Early Bird: $595 (available through January 10, 2025)
  • Standard Rate: $695 (available beginning on January 11, 2025)
  • Onsite Rate: $795 (available on April 8, 2025) 
My promo code isn't working, what can I do?

Please ensure the promo code hasn't expired and you are selecting the correct attendee type (i.e. Industry Attendee).

What payment options are accepted?

All registration fees for the event are in U.S. dollars. Payment will be processed using a valid credit card from one of the following options: American Express, MasterCard or Visa.

What does the registration fee include?

Registration fees include:

  • Entry into all onsite sessions
  • Access to session recordings & speaker presentations (accessible post event following submission of an attendee survey)
  • Welcome Reception on Tuesday, April 8
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Breaks on Wednesday, April 9

Registration fees do not include travel to/from the conference. The attendee is solely responsible for all costs associated to travel, accommodations and anything not listed as an inclusion. 

What is the cancellation fee?

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to events@jdpa.com. The refund policy is as follows:

  • On or before January 31, 2025: Full refund, less a $75.00 handling fee
  • February 1, 2025 or later: No refund will be honored. Registered participants who fail to attend the Event will be liable for the full registration fee.
What is the substitution policy?

Registrations may be transferred to another colleague from the same company at no additional charge. Substitution requests must be submitted via email to events@jdpa.com. Registration transfers to a company different from the original registration will not be granted. Substitutions are not confirmed until both the original and substitute attendee receive written confirmation from the J.D. Power Events Team.

Required information for a registration transfer:

  • Full name of the original registrant
  • Full name, title, company and email address of substitute registrant
  • Original registrant’s confirmation number

Please note: Cancelling and/or transferring hotel reservations or any other travel related details to attend the event are at the exclusive responsibility of the registrants.

Will my badge be mailed ahead of time?

No, you will receive your attendee badge onsite during check-in.

Check-in will be hosted outside of the Lakeshore Ballroom on the 3rd floor beginning at 7:00am CT. 

What if I lose my badge?

Please visit the check-in desk to receive a one (1) complimentary. 

For additional replacement badges, a fee of $75 will be collected.

HOTEL & TRAVEL

Is there a discounted room rate at the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel?

Yes, J.D. Power has a negotiated room rate of $259.00 per night, plus all applicable state and local taxes. To take advantage of our discounted rates, please click here to book your room.

The discounted hotel blocks will fill quickly, so book your room early. Room rates are based upon availability and will expire on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

What is the closest airport?

The Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD) is the main international airport servicing Chicago, IL and is located 17 miles from the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile. 

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

There are many different transportation options serving the New Orleans area, including taxis, car rental and private car services.

OTHER DETAILS

How should I dress?

During the conference, business casual attire is appropriate. Plan to bring a light jacket or sweater for the cool hotel temperatures.

What kind of weather should I anticipate?

The average temperatures in Chicago, IL will be cool in April. We can expect highs of 55°F and lows of 43°F. Please note that the meetings will be held indoors, so plan accordingly.

Will Wi-Fi be available?

Yes, Wi-Fi will be available throughout the conference.
