Lindsey Klarkowski
NAMIC
Lindsey Klarkowski, J.D., serves as NAMIC's Policy Vice President of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity policy. She is responsible for providing the NAMIC association and membership with policy expertise and analysis on legislative or regulatory issues related to Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Governance at the state and federal levels.
Prior to joining NAMIC, Lindsey worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where she provided subject matter expertise and legal counsel on digital commerce, emerging technologies, and AI/ML governance. In that role, she also worked closely with the company's government affairs team to develop policy strategy on emerging technology issues impacting the insurance industry, and analyzed related draft legislation and regulation.
Lindsey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota. She is an active member of the Wisconsin State Bar.
