Brian M. Pozzi Brian M. Pozzi joined Auto Club Group in September of 2017 to lead the Staff Counsel and Insurance Counsel groups in the Office of General Counsel. In 2018, he expanded his role to include that of Corporate Claims Officer responsible for leading 1,300 claims professionals in the fourteen state ACG footprint. In 2024, Brian expanded his role further to oversee Strategy & Planning. In March of 2026, Brian was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Claims & Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Auto Club Group, Brian spent twenty-two years at Allstate Insurance Company filling various roles in both the legal department and business side.
Brian began his legal career in the Philadelphia Staff Counsel office of Allstate Insurance Company in 1995. He progressed through that office becoming Lead Counsel for claims-related litigation in Philadelphia and surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in dealing with legal issues, most notably in the areas of premises liability, commercial liability and automobile negligence. He has tried over one hundred and fifty cases to verdict in front of juries in Pennsylvania State Court and the United States Federal Court in Pennsylvania. In addition to being an accomplished trial attorney, he has managed staff attorneys, paralegals and legal secretaries in multiple locations.
In 2003, Brian became New York Regional Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company. His primary responsibility included working to proactively advocate the Company’s interests in state legislative and regulatory venues, serving as Allstate’s New York Region’s primary liaison with the New York State Insurance Department and the New York State Legislature. Brian also worked to build and maintain relationships with industry and community organizations to identify issues integral to maintaining a favorable market position, and advocate public-policy positions with legislators, regulators, media and consumers. Additionally, he was a key member of Allstate’s New York Market Operating Committee, the senior management team responsible for the strategic management and direction of all business initiatives of the three-billion-dollar Allstate New York
operation.
In 2009, Brian became the Lead Distribution Attorney for Allstate Insurance Company in their headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. He led a team of attorneys that provided advice and counsel to the company relating to distribution through 12,000 exclusive agents, 2000 independent agents and 3 call centers countrywide.
Later in Brian’s Allstate career, the company leveraged his diverse experience by moving him over to the business side to lead a team developing improvement and expansion of exclusive agency programs. In addition, he led a large cross-functional team focused on developing an enhanced Go-To-Market strategy for the Corporation.
Brian graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in History, and received the Dean’s Merit Award for Excellence in the School of History. In addition, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University. Brian is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, Washington D.C. and Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Brian is the President of the Board of Directors, and a volunteer of the Emmaus House of Hospitality. The Emmaus House, located in Lake Zurich, Illinois is a 501(c) (3) whose mission is to provide food, temporary housing and personal items not covered by food stamps to members of the community who are in need of such vital services. Brian is also a board member of Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) and serves as Board Chair for Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE).

Marisol Schulte supports in developing and executing TransUnion’s product strategy for the personal lines property and casualty markets. She has over 19 years of property and casualty insurance experience, beginning in claims, with additional positions in R&D and Product Management for State Farm, CSAA and Farmers. Schulte attained her CPCU in 2017 and graduated cum laude from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics.

Dan Seldin is a Managing Director, Research Data Science Product & Technology at JD Power. In this role, he manages an international team of data scientists to oversee the research design and statistical analyses of all projects within the energy, diversified, financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, insurance, telecommunications, and travel business sectors.
Dr. Seldin’s duties include designing study methodology, sampling, and questionnaires; managing partner vendors; providing research support; analyzing data, both quantitative and qualitative; turning statistical analyses into client-friendly insights; and presenting study findings to clients for numerous syndicated and proprietary studies. He also assists with the enhancement of research best practices, new product development, and the implementation of corporate-wide quality verification processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Prior to joining JD Power in 2002, Dr. Seldin was a senior program evaluator for the Riverside Unified School District. In this position, he evaluated and assisted in the implementation of district-wide state and federally funded intervention programs aimed at increasing academic performance and school safety.
Dr. Seldin received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology, magna cum laude; a master’s degree in psychology; and a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Riverside.

Jason Shapiro is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Root Insurance, the Columbus, Ohio–based technology‑driven insurance company on a mission to redefine how personal auto insurance is bought, sold and integrated into broader ecosystems. Root uses advanced data science, mobile telematics and automated systems to deliver personalized, fair and transparent insurance experiences that reward safer driving behavior and simplify the customer journey.
In his role, Jason leads business development and strategic growth initiatives, focusing on expanding Root’s embedded insurance offerings and building high‑impact partner relationships across automotive, digital platforms and agent channels. Under his guidance, Root has strengthened distribution partnerships and leveraged innovative technology integrations that streamline the insurance experience for customers and partners alike.
Jason brings more than 20 years of leadership experience and deep expertise in automotive, technology and enterprise business development to his work at Root. Prior to joining Root, he served as President of ForeverCar, where he was responsible for overall operations and revenue generation. He also held senior roles in automotive partnerships and enterprise development at industry‑leading organizations including TrueCar and Cox Automotive.
At Root, Jason champions initiatives that connect Root’s insurance solutions with broader digital ecosystems and partner platforms, driving growth through embedded insurance strategies that meet customers where they are—whether in automotive retail, online marketplaces or through independent agents. His leadership helps position Root at the intersection of insurtech innovation, data‑driven underwriting, partnership‑led distribution and modern customer engagement.
